Although their first and second album only gained slight success, it was their third successful album which was released in 1977 that lead them into mainstream music. The cover album gave them their patented logo as a band. The album “A Place In The Sun” made it at the 19th position of the US billboard chart. It also reached the platinum and gold title on its sales.
The band had undergone different band members which had contributed to their success until now. Dave Jenkins, the founder and the original member of Pablo Cruise is the guitarist and vocalist of the band. Cory Lerios is the keyboardist and vocalist of the band and a former band member of Stoneground together with Jenkins and Price. Steve Price is the band's percussionist and drummer and one of the original member of Pablo Cruise. Larry Antonio is the newest addition to the band and holds the bass instrument.
